BBG is happy to continue our partnership with Colorado Construction & Design® magazine, and the fantastic 2025 Retrospective Special Edition is out. BBG’s latest ‘Construction Law Zone’ article was penned by Alex King.
Friday January 30th, we welcomed a full room for great conversations and timely updates on Colorado construction law at our annual event designed to help industry professionals start the year informed and prepared. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Bret Gunnell for moderating, along with the BBG Construction Law attorney team for sharing their insights.
Henry Bangert and fellow panelists at the 2026 Surety Bonding and Construction Risk Management Conference, January 2026 in Charlotte Harbor, FL. Thanks to the Associated General Contractors of America for a great conference and the chance to connect with contractors, sureties, insurers, and industry experts shaping the future of construction risk management.
Alex’s path to partnership reflects exactly what we value at BBG – deep industry knowledge, hard work, and a genuine commitment to clients and the construction community.
With roots on Colorado job sites, Alex brings real-world perspective to everything he does. That practical foundation shapes his work in complex litigation, arbitration, and contract drafting, allowing him to provide thoughtful, efficient, and grounded advice to clients navigating challenging projects and disputes.
An active leader in the construction industry, he’s currently serving as Chair of the Future Leaders Forum for AGC Colorado. He regularly contributes to industry publications, speaks at conferences, and provides client training, demonstrating a commitment to the profession that extends well beyond the courtroom.
Alex’s dedication, leadership, and collaborative approach make him an outstanding Partner and an even better colleague. We’re proud to celebrate this well-earned milestone and excited for what’s ahead.
