David Nussbaum

David supports the litigation practice at BBG Construction Law, helping clients navigate disputes, contract negotiations, and complex legal filings with clarity and confidence. Drawing on experience in the court system and the classroom, he strives to balance legal precision with practical client outcomes.

Before entering law, David taught Language Arts and Ethics in Denver Public Schools, where he designed inclusive curriculum and delivered differentiated instruction to multilingual and special education students. This teaching foundation continues to shape his legal approach—focused on clarity, client empowerment, and strategic thinking.

David earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School, where he was a Dean’s List student and Merit Scholar. During law school, David gained experience as a summer associate at a boutique construction law firm and as a judicial intern for both the 1st and 20th Judicial Districts. Most recently, David completed a year-long clerkship in the 1st Judicial District, and his experience managing the Division’s civil docket informs his current litigation practice.

Outside the office, David enjoys hiking Colorado’s trails, playing indoor sand volleyball, and searching for the best California burrito in town.
