Katherine was born and raised in Champaign, Illinois. She moved to Colorado in 1997 and obtained her law degree from the University of Colorado in 2000. She has over 20 years of civil litigation experience, primarily in the area of construction law. Prior to joining BBG, Katherine spent over 10 years representing design professionals in construction defect lawsuits. Katherine also has experience in commercial litigation, employment litigation, personal injury litigation, and insurance defense. Katherine’s legal career has consisted of advising and representing clients through all phases of litigation and dispute resolution, filing and pursuing mechanic’s lien claims, reviewing and drafting contracts, drafting motions, conducting written discovery and depositions, and participating in trials and arbitration.
