Laura A. Wilson

Laura has over fifteen years of litigation experience focusing her practice on assisting clients with all aspects of construction litigation. She has successfully represented clients in complex construction litigation matters, including wrongful termination, mechanic’s liens, bid protests, differing site conditions, and project delays. Laura is well-versed in all aspects of dispute resolution, including negotiating settlements, mediation, arbitration, and trial litigation. She takes a strategic approach to preparing clients for trial or arbitration while exploring all avenues for effective resolution.

Laura’s trial expertise has earned her significant recognition, including being named a member of CDAC’s 2023 Trial Team of the Year.

Laura began her legal career in 2008 with the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, where she honed her litigation and negotiation skills. Over the years, she expanded her practice to include real estate law, assisting clients with contract review, lease agreements, title research, and dispute resolution. Most recently, she served as Chief Deputy District Attorney for the 18th Judicial District, leading a team of attorneys, investigators, and support staff while litigating high-profile cases.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts from Colorado College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado and the United States District Court District of Colorado.
