Maria Conversa

Graduating in the top 1% of her class, Maria earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago Law School, obtaining a concentration in sustainability in real estate. With roots embedded in a construction family from Chicago, she developed an understanding of the industry at an early age.

Before joining BBG, Maria worked at a boutique construction law firm in Denver for three years gaining valuable experience litigating complex breach of contract and construction defect claims on commercial projects, in addition to pursuing payment and performance bond claims. She also has extensive experience handling every step of the mechanic’s lien process.

Today, she is licensed in Colorado, Illinois, and Wyoming. With a commitment to providing practical counseling, Maria’s strategic approach to conflict resolution and ability to navigate intricate legal issues while minimizing disruption to her clients’ ongoing projects makes her a trusted advisor.
