Tim Shannon

Tim advises his clients through the complexities of corporate governance, entity selection, business structures, and succession planning. Through his work, Tim strives to balance liability mitigation concerns against practical business needs and efficiency goals.

Prior to joining BBG, Tim began his legal career at Hutchinson Black and Cook, LLC in Boulder, Colorado, where his practice focused on entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, and general, transactional corporate work. Throughout his career, Tim has built meaningful relationships with his clients and always aspires to become a trusted business advisor to those that he works with.

During law school, Tim graduated in the top 5% of his class with a certificate in taxation and gained meaningful experience through his externship with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.

When not at work, Tim can be found playing the guitar with his garage band and enjoying the beautiful Colorado outdoors with his wife and their golden retriever.
